EXCELLENT Based on 162 reviews Kodie TangJuly 7, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was able to schedule a same day appointment. Ben came out to look at my garage door. I backed into it and was scared there was damage. He checked it out to determine it was just cosmetic. I super appreciated the prompt response and honesty. Thank you. Disa Juarez-ValerioJune 17, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. UPDATE: within minutes of posting a 3 star review the company reached out to discuss what had occurred. The message from the manager Sean said he wished I would have contacted them prior to posting and "I will do everything possible to make it right with you to make sure you are feeling good with doing business with us and change that review to 5 stars." A few minutes later I received a call from Ben and to be honest I was on the defense expected to be bullied into changing my review but that wasn't the case at all. He apologized, explained how important customer service is to them and he repeated more than once that he didn't want me to feel pressured into changing my review. He listened to my concerns and was perfectly professional throughout, in the endhe gave me a partial refund and made sure that I was fully satisfied before we hung up. I was very impressed by how he handled this situation, he deserves a raise. Now I don't know about you, but to me, this is the epitome of customer service excellence. Can I now recommend this company? Absolutely! With the caveat that I definitely recommend getting an additional competitor's quote so you will end up with the peace of mind of knowing that you contracted not only great company, but at a great price. (Original review below)....... Disclaimer: I did not get a comparative quote from another company and wished I had. First of all, I will say that service was fast and professional. I just had a few things that left me feeling icky. A new garage door opener with remotes and new sensors was replaced today. I felt the labor fee was on the high end of fair. However, I do not for the life of me understand why a $259 liftmaster opener was marked up to $850. I was told it was because they offer a lifetime guarantee. But only one year of labor. I asked if I could get the garage door without the guarantee and was offered a nice discount on the labor fee in return. Good customer service for sure but still wishing I had gotten a second quote to find out if this is industry standard. Then it came time to pay. They accept venmo, cashapp etc. But charge a 3.5% fee for their credit card. I wasn't prepared for that. I've never been charged a credit card fee by a contractor before and just left me feeling like this company is greedy. James did such a great job that I'll recommend him to anyone I hear mention issues with locks or garage doors. He's a pro. 10/10
SAFETY TIPS
When Do You Need a Garage Door Installation West Linn Services?
If your garage door creaks, sags, or gets stuck halfway, it might be more than just an old system showing its age. Worn panels, rusted hinges, and outdated openers can all make everyday use a hassle. In areas like West Linn, where moisture and slope can affect door balance and track alignment, older setups often wear out faster. If you’ve recently remodeled, built a new garage, or upgraded your home’s exterior, your current door might not match the look—or function—you need anymore.
Signs you need a new install include broken springs, frayed cables, visible panel damage, or a door that doesn’t seal properly when closed. Sometimes, the parts are still working, but the materials or design are no longer up to today’s efficiency or safety standards. Newer systems are quieter, stronger, and built to handle regular use without constant maintenance.
If you’re dealing with any of these issues, it might be time to talk with the team at PDX Garage Door about getting your setup replaced right.

Why Choose Us
Garage Door Installation West Linn Service
No two homes in West Linn are built the same. We’ve worked on hillside properties with uneven foundations, tight garage frames in older ranch-style homes, and modern constructions with high-lift clearance needs. Installing a garage door here means getting the tracks right, adjusting spring torque based on weight, and making sure the opener rail isn’t pulling against a warped header.
Many calls we get later are from DIY installs or big-box setups that skipped the details—like failing to level the horizontal track or using low-grade hinges that buckle in cold weather. We bring high-cycle torsion springs, 14-gauge struts, and sealed cables with drums rated for 400-lb doors. We also handle emergencies when cables snap or rollers pop off-track mid-week. Every new door is balanced for smooth lift, backed with correct travel limits, and weather-sealed for West Linn’s wet seasons. One misstep during install can lead to long-term problems—we make sure everything’s lined up to last.

about us
professionals in Garage DOOR SERVICES
Sloped driveways, dense tree coverage, and custom home layouts—Garage Door Installation West Linn takes experience to get right. At PDX Garage Door, we bring years of hands-on work across the area, installing everything from flush-panel steel doors to carriage-style wood overlays.
Our installs use top brands like Amarr, CHI, Clopay, and openers from LiftMaster, Genie, and Sommer. We build around what each property actually needs—single-door systems with low-headroom kits or multi-door garages that require dual openers and reinforced double tracks.
Most of the problems we fix later could’ve been avoided with a solid install—cables not wound evenly, limits not set, or headers left unsupported. We install for durability, function, and local conditions. Our gear includes oil-tempered springs, stainless rollers, and upgraded center bearings for quiet and consistent performance. Every part is chosen for long-term results, not just the look.

FAQ’s
Frequently Ask Questions
If your door is sagging, loud, or frequently off-track, it may be time for a new one. Age plays a big role—doors over 15 years old often have worn springs, outdated insulation, or damaged panels. In West Linn, moisture and temperature swings can accelerate wear. A new install gives you better function, updated safety features, and a cleaner look that fits your home’s style.
Insulated steel doors are ideal for West Linn’s wet climate and changing seasons. They resist warping, rust, and noise while offering energy efficiency. Full-view aluminum and carriage-style doors are also common, especially in newer developments. We install doors from brands like Amarr, Clopay, and CHI, using openers from LiftMaster and Genie that pair well with your garage layout and door weight.
Most standard installs are completed in 4–6 hours, depending on door size, opener type, and site conditions. Some West Linn homes with sloped driveways or tight framing may require additional prep time. We remove the old door, assemble hardware, align tracks, tension springs, and test for proper movement. If upgrades like struts or insulation are included, we make sure every component is adjusted and secured properly.
That depends on the condition and lifting power of your current opener. Older models may not support heavier modern doors, especially insulated ones. We check compatibility, rail length, and force settings before reusing anything. In many cases, replacing the opener during installation helps prevent future issues. Newer systems also offer better safety sensors, quieter motors, and smoother operation—especially useful in neighborhoods like West Linn.
Incorrect installations can lead to uneven lifting, loud operation, snapped cables, or warped tracks. One common issue we see in West Linn is doors binding due to unbalanced springs or misaligned rails. If a header isn’t properly supported or the opener is set too high, long-term wear increases. That’s why we double-check everything—from bracket placement to cable tension—before signing off on any garage door install.
