EXCELLENT Based on 162 reviews Kodie TangJuly 7, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was able to schedule a same day appointment. Ben came out to look at my garage door. I backed into it and was scared there was damage. He checked it out to determine it was just cosmetic. I super appreciated the prompt response and honesty. Thank you. Disa Juarez-ValerioJune 17, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. UPDATE: within minutes of posting a 3 star review the company reached out to discuss what had occurred. The message from the manager Sean said he wished I would have contacted them prior to posting and "I will do everything possible to make it right with you to make sure you are feeling good with doing business with us and change that review to 5 stars." A few minutes later I received a call from Ben and to be honest I was on the defense expected to be bullied into changing my review but that wasn't the case at all. He apologized, explained how important customer service is to them and he repeated more than once that he didn't want me to feel pressured into changing my review. He listened to my concerns and was perfectly professional throughout, in the endhe gave me a partial refund and made sure that I was fully satisfied before we hung up. I was very impressed by how he handled this situation, he deserves a raise. Now I don't know about you, but to me, this is the epitome of customer service excellence. Can I now recommend this company? Absolutely! With the caveat that I definitely recommend getting an additional competitor's quote so you will end up with the peace of mind of knowing that you contracted not only great company, but at a great price. (Original review below)....... Disclaimer: I did not get a comparative quote from another company and wished I had. First of all, I will say that service was fast and professional. I just had a few things that left me feeling icky. A new garage door opener with remotes and new sensors was replaced today. I felt the labor fee was on the high end of fair. However, I do not for the life of me understand why a $259 liftmaster opener was marked up to $850. I was told it was because they offer a lifetime guarantee. But only one year of labor. I asked if I could get the garage door without the guarantee and was offered a nice discount on the labor fee in return. Good customer service for sure but still wishing I had gotten a second quote to find out if this is industry standard. Then it came time to pay. They accept venmo, cashapp etc. But charge a 3.5% fee for their credit card. I wasn't prepared for that. I've never been charged a credit card fee by a contractor before and just left me feeling like this company is greedy. Jordan TunstillFebruary 23, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn't recommend PDX Garage Door more highly. Dispatch was great, cost was more than reasonable, service was fast and effective, James fixed a problem that I didn't even know existed in addition to what I called for. James did such a great job that I'll recommend him to anyone I hear mention issues with locks or garage doors. He's a pro. 10/10
SAFETY TIPS
When Do You Need a Commercial Garage Door Repair Services ?
If your overhead door shakes, sticks, or makes loud grinding noises, it’s not just annoying—it’s a sign something’s off. Commercial doors take more wear than residential ones, especially in busy spots like warehouses, loading docks, and storefronts. If you’re noticing slow response from the opener, doors going off-track, or visible damage to cables or rollers, it’s time to act.
Small problems like a loose hinge or a misaligned sensor can quickly snowball into major issues that halt business. Portland’s weather also plays a role—rain and temperature swings can warp tracks or rust components. Safety should also be a concern; faulty doors can lead to injuries or damage to vehicles and equipment. If your door doesn’t open smoothly every time, it’s not doing its job.
Delays cost money. We’re here to prevent that. Call now to schedule your commercial garage door check-up before small issues turn into major downtime.
We accept all major payment types

Why Choose Us
Commercial Garage Door Repair Service Portland
Most garage door issues don’t give you a heads-up. A busted torsion spring on a warehouse bay at 6AM, a seized opener on a delivery route, or frayed cables holding a 300 lb. steel door — it all stops work. We work fast, with precision, and know exactly what to do when Commercial Garage Door Repair Service Portland calls for action.
Service here is rarely just a single broken part. It’s often linked to alignment issues, rusted rollers, overheated motors, or warped tracks caused by damp Portland winters. That’s why we show up with what’s needed to finish the job the first time — whether it’s a LiftMaster logic board or a DURA-LIFT replacement cable. Emergency calls aren’t uncommon — especially with failing safety sensors that shut down access systems on busy commercial sites. We’ve seen it all, from jammed high-lift doors at industrial yards to reset loops on motorized gate interfaces.
We don’t guess. We diagnose, fix, and get your doors back in sync with the work you do.

If your garage door makes loud noises, opens unevenly, or hesitates, it’s time to call PDX Garage Door. Businesses in Portland often face issues like worn cables, broken rollers, or misaligned tracks—especially during the rainy season. Delaying service can cause damage to openers or lead to complete system failure, which disrupts operations and costs more to fix later.
Yes, we repair and replace broken torsion and extension springs, worn-out cables, and frayed pulleys throughout Portland. These parts wear down faster in high-use environments like warehouses or delivery hubs. PDX Garage Door uses heavy-duty, long-cycle components from trusted brands like DURA-LIFT and Prime-Line to make sure your commercial door stays safe, balanced, and fully operational.
For high-traffic locations in Portland, PDX Garage Door recommends maintenance at least twice a year. With fluctuating temperatures and heavy rainfall, Portland’s climate affects door components—especially sensors, tracks, and weather seals. Routine checks help catch early wear on cables, hinges, and springs, reducing the chance of sudden failures that could halt your business operations. Regular upkeep keeps everything moving safely and efficiently.
